The health and wellness of your body is the foundation of your life. When your body is healthy it enriches every aspect of your life experience and makes it easier, more fun and filled with joy. When it is absent the opposite occurs and simple joys are difficult to experience. I know this from personal experience.
My journey into understanding wellness started when I was a teenager struggling with mono and the after effects of the fatigue, exhaustion, overwhelm and pain for 20+ years following. I have addressed these health issues with many approaches; however, nutrition and natural herbal remedies are an essential ingredients for success. Every cell in my (and your) body is replaced in less than two years. Basically, our bodies are rebuilt in less than two years and without the right building blocks dysfunctional cells are created. Proper nutrition is imperative in providing the right building blocks to replace cells with more cells that work right.
I entered into the medical field as a Physical Therapist and sought to help patients solving chronic pain and kept finding that a missing link in their solution was related to nutrition; however, my PT license limited my scope to provide suggestions and assistance. I attained a license as a Holistic Wellness Practitioner and now when I function as a Pastoral Health Practitioner, state law has no jurisdiction over me but instead I am responsible to the ecclesiastical organization that ordained me and by God. In the Private Expressive Institute, Design Your Health, I have been able to provide medical education and therapies to members free from comment or supervision by organizations created by state legislators and/or federal regulations as long as our members do not create a clear and present danger that rises to the level of substantive evil.
My solid interest in understanding herbal remedies and nutrition for myself led me down many paths with different companies. I realized over time that there was a significant amount of contradictory information out there along with good and bad companies promoting their products. I eventually discovered Natures Sunshine and found that they provided consistent results with their products because of the quality employed in all aspects of their manufacturing process. I enjoy educating others on what can be done to help overcome their health challenges because I know I have products that I can rely on in helping clients.
